On 12 June 2019, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels held closed-door breakfast, where leading economist Volodymyr Kuzyo from Kyiv-based Center for Economic Strategy and Juan José Montero from the Florence School of Regulation, presented the finding of their joined research on “Railway market liberalisation in Ukraine and the EU”.
On May 28, 2019, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels together with the Centre for Economic Strategy and Bruegel co-organised a conference “The Ukrainian economy: the way forward after a year of political turbulence”.
On 15-17 May 2019, Veronika Movchan and Oksana Kuziakiv held several working meetings with EU officials and business organisations.
On the 25th of February 2019, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels organised its fourth Brussels UkraineLab in the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), which represents civil society in the system of EU institutions.
On December 6 2018, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels together with the European Endowment for Democracy and in cooperation with the United Nations Ukraine organised a conference “Donbas Today and Tomorrow: Local, National and International Perspectives”.
On 17 October 2018, the Office organised a conference with the Razumkov Centre at the Open Society European Policy Institute (OSEPI) in Brussels.
On 10 July 2018, on the occasion of the EU-Ukraine Summit, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels (UTTLOB) organised a meeting with Ukrainian experts in the European Parliament, hosted by MEP Michael Gahler, Standing Rapporteur for Ukraine, to discuss anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine.
From 3 to 10 June 2018, Internews Ukraine, the member-organisation of the Office, brought 10 Ukrainian journalists representing different areas of Ukraine to Brussels, for a study visit.
On 25 April 2018, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels and CEPS Energy Climate House organised a joint event on the occasion of the release of a new report entitled “Ukraine and the Association Agreement in the energy sector: In a traffic jam?” prepared by our member DiXi Group and partners from the Energy Reform Coalition.
On the 27th of February 2018, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels organised its third Brussels UkraineLab in the European Parliament, within the framework of the European Parliament’s Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee.
