On 23 May 2017, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels and the Wilfired Martens Centre for European Studies organised jointly an event on Ukraine’s reforms in the energy and environment sectors. The discussion was based on the monitoring report: “Ukraine and Association Agreement: how to prevent a storm?” which evaluates the progress of energy and environmental reforms in Ukraine in line with the Association Agreement and commitments to the Energy Community.
The Brussels UkraineLab 2017: Fair of project ideas in Support of Reforms in Ukraine took place on the 22nd February 2017. 19 leading Ukrainian think tanks presented Ukraine in many dimensions such as economic development, state building reforms and foreign policy, and shared their expertise with the audience, composed of nearly 100 representatives from the EU and Ukrainian Governmental Institutions, Think Tanks, Business Associations, Consultancies, Academia, Foundations and Media.
On the 6th of December 2016, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels in cooperation with the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and with the support of the U.S. Mission to the EU held a high-level conference “Securing the Modernisation of Ukraine”. The conference, which was attended by about 90 people, covered the themes of Security and Progress in reforms in Ukraine.
On the 29th November 2016, the 5th Annual Civil Society Capacity Development Forum, was held in Kyiv. Its aim is to enhance capabilities of civil society organizations through advocacy of reforms, prevention of corruption, overcoming consequences of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine and improvement of the socio-economic condition of Ukrainian citizens.
On the 16th – 20th October 2016, the group of experts from leading Ukrainian think tanks and members of Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels visited Brussels to present the vision of experts’ network on the future of Minsk agreements and options of reintegration.
On the 18th October 2016 Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels together with Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) held a conference which addressed the main finsings of the report “Not So Quiet on the Eastern Front: An Audit of the Minsk Agreements and Ukraine’s Reintegration Options”.
On the 26th of September, the Reanimation Package of Reforms, the European Endowment for Democracy, Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels and the Institute of World Policy held a panel discussion called “Ukraine Reforms: Roadmap for Success”.
