On the 19th November 2015 in Brussels, Olena Prystayko, UTTLOB’s Executive director and Jana Brovdij, Research and communications Officer, met with 15 young politicians from Ukraine.

Today Ukraine has to fight on two fronts – one to regain its territorial integrity against Russia’s aggression, and the second is the front of reform implementation. The two fronts are interlinked, and success on both will secure Ukraine’s future.

From 1 November 2015, Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels (UTTLOB) began implementing part of the Project “Improving the communications capacity of the grantees of the Think Tank Development Initiative”, with the support of Think Tank Fund, Open Society Foundations (Budapest, Hungary), SIDA and International Renaissance Foundation (Kyiv, Ukraine).

The Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office continues to work on engaging a greater support for Ukrainefrom the EU member state. From 18 till 24 June 2015, the Office had a working visit to Budapest, Bratislava and Prague.

Oleh Rybachuk, Chairman of the CentreUA, Former Prime Minister of Ukraine on European integration and Olena Prystayko, Co-founder and Executive Director of the Ukrainian Think Tanks Office in Brussels will participate in GlobSec 2015 – leading annual forum on security and foreign policy in the region of Central Europe.

On the 2 June 2015, in the framework of a study visit of Ukrainian students to Brussels, a roundtable with the Executive Director of the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels, Olena Prystayko, took place. The topic of the roundtable “Think Tanks in Brussels and the Ukraine-Crisis: mastering the challenge?”

On the 23 April 2015, Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels in cooperation with the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies organized the international conference “War in Ukraine: where are we now and where are we going?” Ukrainian officials and experts, NATO and EU representatives were invited to provide their analyses of the situation on the ground in Ukraine, its possible developments and factors of victory.

Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels and the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies are organizing a conference “War in Ukraine: where are we now and where are we going?”.

On the 4 March 2015, Dr. Olena Prystayko, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels, gave a lecture at Leuven Catholic University.

On the 16 December 2014 in Brussels, Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels in cooperation with the Democracy Reporting International and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv organized conference “From Revolution to Reform: key priorities and next steps for Ukraine”.
