On the 12 May 2015, Institute of World Policy in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine held an annual international conference on relations between Ukraine and the EU.

On 28 April, Institute of World Policy (IWP) held a public discussion “Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga: Ukraine’s expectations”.

Institute of World Policy (IWP) in partnership with Centre for International Affairs, Spain, has organized a two-day working visit of European experts to Ukraine. 27 leaders of European public opinion – representatives of the best EU think tanks, editors and journalists from leading European media took part in the visit.

On 19 March, international relations experts discussed various aspects of the European vector of Ukraine during a roundtable “Towards European Integration of Ukraine: the role of civil society.” The event was opened by Gennady Maksak, President  of the Polissya Fund for International and Regional Studies.

During the roundtable, experts presented the concept of the new Law “On Elections of members of the Parliament of Ukraine” and local elections. Together with members of local councils, representatives of political parties and public organizations they discussed current legislative novelties for the preparation and conduct of elections in accordance with international democratic standards.

On 10 March 2015, International Centre for Policy Studies (ICPS) held a roundtable on “How to win the information war?”.

During a press conference, Director of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation (DiF) ​​Irina Bekeshkina  presented a recent public opinion poll conducted by the Foundation.

On the 25 February in Kyiv, community activists presented and discussed best practices of public control at the local level. Lviv OPORA invited 11 representatives of NGOs, among them – two from Bulgaria and Poland. Foreign colleagues shared their experience of monitoring public disclosure of information and the creation of a special register of public contracts.

On the 27 February, Centre for Political and Legal Reforms (CPLR) held a press conference: “Corruption under the microscope,” during which the results of anti-corruption study of legislation were presented.


On 19 February, during the press conference “Luhansk: mood, fears and hopes” the director of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation (DIF) Irina Bekeshkina, presented a new project “Reintegration of Donbass in Ukraine through communication.”
