On 14 March 2019, the Razumkov Centre held an expert discussion “Increased significance of monetary policy in the CEE countries in the post-crisis period and recommendations for Ukraine”.
In the period from June 2018 to January 2019, the Civil Network OPORA’s observers recorded 1506 cases of using publicly-funded events for the purpose of indirect campaigning in favour of people’s deputies and political parties.
Misuse of administrative resources and transparency of campaign financing became two major challenges in February. This information was reported by representatives of Civil Network OPORA during a press conference in Kyiv held on December 5.
On 21 February 2019, in Kyiv, the Centre for Global Studies “Strategy XXI” organised with the support of the Embassy of Romania in Ukraine an event “EU’s Focus on the Black Sea Region and Ukraine. Priorities of the Romanian Presidency in the EU Council”.
In January 2019, 28 persons launched proactive campaigning activities.
On January 30, 2019 in Kyiv, the Centre for Global Studies Strategy XXI held a round table “Energy Supply in the Occupied Territories” in the framework of the project “Transparent energy supply in the secessionist regions” (leading organisation is the Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewables “Pro-Energy”, Moldova) with the support of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum.
On 18 December 2018, the Razumkov Centre together with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Ukraine held the roundtable “Ukraine on the eve of the elections: popular demand, key challenges and possible outcomes”.
On 4th December 2018 in Kyiv, within the ENABLE.EU Project, the Centre for Global Studies “Strategy XXI” held the roundtable “Renewable Energy in Ukraine: Government Policies, Bottlenecks, Solutions”.
In November, potential candidates for the President of Ukraine have been active in their public activities accompanied by various forms of campaigning in 18 of 25 regions of Ukraine.
On November 28, 2018, the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting presented the analytical report “Foreign Non-Governmental Foundations in Ukraine: Areas and Scope of Activities”, prepared on the basis of open sources.
