On  the 18th November 2014, within the framework of the European Security Forum 2014, a panel debate “Recasting European Security Policy – European Political Response to the Ukrainian Crisis” took place in Brussels.

On the 17th November 2014, the Swedish Permanent Representation to the EU, the European Endowment for Democracy and the European Council on Foreign Relations organized a debate on Ukraine after the elections.

On the 13th November 2014, European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE) organized a seminar “The political and economic power of Russian energy in Europe: Who is really on top?”.

On the 15th October 2014, Institute of European Studies at Vrije University in partnership with Egmont – Royal Institute for International Relations organized a lecture “The Ukraine Crisis, Russia Resurgent and the West: a NATO Perspective” by Michael Rühle , Head of Energy Security, Emerging Security Challenges Division, NATO HQ.

On the 7th October the Wilfred Martens Center for European Studies organized a launch of the publication “Building a Lifeline for Freedom – Eastern Partnership 2.0”, authored by Ambassador Salome Samadashvili. 

On the 30th June 2014, a public discussion with George Soros, founder of the Open Society Foundations and Herman Van Rompoya, President of the European Council was held in Brussels.

Ahead of the next NATO Summit that will take place on the 4-5 September 2014 in the Great Britain, Wales, the German Marshall Fund of the United States has launched a new initiative that will serve as a forum to stimulate new ideas. The first event was held in Brussels and focused on “NATO and the crisis in Ukraine: changing priorities for leaders at the NATO Summit 2014”

On the 18th June 2014, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels in cooperation with the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and the Reforms Support Centre to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine held a conference on the reform agenda in Ukraine.

On the 28th May 2014, within the expert meetings series “Reforms Agenda for Ukraine”, the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels, in cooperation with the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies, held a discussion on the results of the Presidential elections in Ukraine and their impact on the domestic and foreign policies of Ukraine.
