Green Vectoring for Ukraine: How to Take the Opportunities and Avoid the Threats


On 16 June, the Resource & Analysis Center “Society and Environment”, DiXi Group, the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting in cooperation with the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels and with the financial support of International Renaissance Foundation are organising a discussion event on Ukraine’s role in the European Green Deal.

This online event is organised to discuss the European Green Deal and its strategic importance for EU-Ukraine relations and Ukraine’s future development. Key speakers include top representatives of the Ukrainian government, parliament and the EU.

European Green Deal sets ambitious growth goals of the European Union for many years to come, including its key goal for a climate-neutral Europe by 2050. Ukraine relies on strong and mutually supportive political and economic relations with the EU, including access to its market. The discussion plans to unveil opportunities and threats stemming from the European Green Deal for Ukraine, discuss Ukraine’s role in achieving global ambitions the EU has within its new growth strategy.
