13.03.2015. Investments: Monthly Monitoring, PFIRS


In the latest issue of monthly monitoring “Investments in Ukraine” expert of Polissya Foundation for International and Regional Studies, Boris Uvarov, analyzed the investment market in Ukraine as of February 2015.

Bad news on the market is a decline in foreign direct investment by 19.5% in comparison with the volume at the beginning of 2014. Today, foreign investments on the Ukrainian market comprise 45.916 billion dollars.

The Ukrainian government held several meetings in order to protect investments and increase the attractiveness of investing in Ukraine. An agreement was signed between Ukraine and Japan. Japan’s Ambassador to Ukraine said that the agreement is another tool to support Ukraine in times of foreign military aggression and economic instability. During the meeting between the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of UAE on February 23-24 partners discussed the financial assistance from the UAE and creation of investment fund that would facilitate investment from UAE in Ukraine.
