Political Quartely: The First Quarter of 2021
The expert poll “Political Quartely: The First Quarter of 2021” was conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation in April-May 2021. A total of 52 experts were interviewed.
– Expert assessment of the President’s effectiveness remains rather low. Traditionally, the President is the least successful in staffing decisions: its assessment is the lowest of all areas of activity of the President for 5 consecutive quarters. The situation with foreign policy is somewhat better: it is assessed at an average level and it has increased compared to previous surveys.
– Another situation is observed in the mitigation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, at the beginning of the pandemic, President Zelensky’s efforts were assessed relatively well. At the same time, with each subsequent quarter, estimates have deteriorated and are at their lowest level now.
