Reaching out Visegrad 4 at GlobSec: Visit of Ukrainian experts to Bratislava, 19-21 June 2015
Oleh Rybachuk, Chairman of the CentreUA, Former Prime Minister of Ukraine on European integration and Olena Prystayko, Co-founder and Executive Director of the Ukrainian Think Tanks Office in Brussels will participate in GlobSec 2015 – leading annual forum on security and foreign policy in the region of Central Europe.
The topics of this year’s forum will include:
- Responding to Russia & helping Ukraine
- Tackling the challenge of radical Islamists and terrorism
- Run-up to Warsaw: adapting NATO and European security
- Empowering Europe
Particular events on Ukraine are envisaged in the programme.
Presidents of Slovakia, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Macedonia and Poland are expected to take part in the Forum. Besides of the participating presidents, 11 delegations of heads of states and governments, dozens of foreign and defence ministers mostly from Europe will join the event. In total there will be 800 participating experts, international media, and representatives of international organisations such as EU, OSCE and NATO.
Closed-door meetings with officials and experts, dealing with Ukraine are also planned for the visit.
The visit of Ukrainian experts to Bratislava is organized by the Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels with support of the USA Mission to the EU and the International Renaissance Foundation.
